About Me
You wish to know about me? Well, I don't understand why you would want to know about me, but I'll speak. My name is Gilles Paquette. I was born in a small town called Maniwaky in Quebec. My parents moved down to Leamington Ontario when I was a child, and I am currently living in Windsor, going to the University.
My Interests
I find many things of interest to myself; below I have listed a few things I find interasting.
Martial Arts
During my younger years, I studied go ju ryu karate, a form of martial arts, and Kendo. I acheived the rank of 3rd Dan but soon after I had to move to Windsor for my studies. I have since then stopped all my pratices of the arts to focus mostly on my schooling.
World of Warcraft
I have a big interest in WoW and gaming in general. My user current main character is called Bakassan, on Ursin. He has full tier 8.5 and is one of the leading resto druids on the realm. If you play the game and want to say hi, you know where to find me.
Programming
I enjoy programming. I find logic to be a natural skill of mine and I enjoy putting it to use - the only problem is that I find many of the concepts to be logical, self-explanatory and matters of common sense, so when some one does not undestand something I get frustrated. I keep up to the most recent standards for developing applications for the Web and for most languages in general.
Astronomy and Space in General
When I was younger, I was interasted in astronomy, not computers, but I soon found out that my lack of "comprehension" of the physical laws meant that I could not pursue that path. I still enjoy astronomy and all things relating to space or physics. I beleive that most physicists are wrong in their assumption of the truth, but, as in any logic/science based conclusion, I do not find the fault of their axioms to be the reason for their invalid conclusion, but the blind belief in these, and that they apply in any circumstance, is flawed. I have my own view of physics and logic, don't mind me.
My Girl Friend
I am taken and I cherish my girl a lot, but I know she would be unhappy if I were to put any information about her online. Therefore, this is all there is to learn about her, here: she exists.
